Accordingly, the inspiring metaphors found in this piece of art include the Cyrillic alphabet, the technique: unborn child representing a light in the darkness, the idea of motherhood, and ladders as constant ACRYLIC ON CANVAS elements that are always fying through space in the relentless pursuit of freedom, improvement and communication. But there is also a really inspiring message which I discovered by chance in the Spanish press, and which is now engraved on my heart; it was from an interview with King Simeon of Bulgaria, just before Bulgaria’s accession to the EU. Te question was: what can Bulgaria bring to the EU? King Simeon’s response was: ‘Spirituality, because it should not be forgotten that the EU is not only an economic union but much more.’ FAI INSPIRATION Inspired in the Babugeri, from the region of Blagoevgrad. Te Babugeri turned into the most adequate instrument to think about the nexus between nature and culture, strengthening the evolutionary continuity
