BIOGRAPHY Franyo Aatoth (born 1954 in Hungary) is an artist living in Paris for more than thrty, years. He represents Hungary like emigrated artist. Te multi-talented FRANYO artist is a painter and creator of exceptional graphic works. Aatoth is an active artist whose works were shown in Europe, America and Asia. His solo AATOTH exhibitions were in Paris, Budapest, Chicago, Munchen, Canton - Republic of China, UB - Mongolia etc. www.aatoth.com ARTIST STATEMENT I followed that Europe since of his birth. I lived the removal of borders, destruction of the Iron Curtain, the Berlin Wall, the afliation of my native country... For me Europe is an immense generosity... made by millions selfsh… title: At this work ‘the lianas’, illusory and mysterious calligraphy, inspired me to fnd new forms of expression. Tis «forest writing» stimulated my daily refections KIMONO 2014 about the same question: Are we so far from nature that we can’t understand its message anymore? Some lianas evoke the form of letters but the impossibility as well of reading the integral text.
